Sell your lesson plans. Keep 80%.
Margins is a new marketplace for classroom resources. No subscription. No listing fees. Non-exclusive, so your TPT store stays as it is. And every published listing shows an AI-assisted grade report that buyers can read before they pay.
Opening founding-seller spots ahead of launch. Buyers: get an email the day we open.
Example grade report: a sample third-grade fractions resource scored 7.8 out of 10.
Scores are subjective based on our review and reference resources. Not reflective of value or student learning
How the grade report worksKnow what you're buying.
Teachers rarely have time to vet every resource. So every resource on Margins gets a review before buyers see it: a score from 0 to 10 for how well it lines up with education standards and with research on how students learn, plus four trust checks. The full breakdown is on the listing, before anyone pays. It's an AI-assisted review, so it may contain errors, and we say so on every report.
Standards alignment
Checked against the official Common Core (ELA and math) and NGSS lists, down to the specific codes a resource actually teaches. 25% of the score.
Learning science
Cognitive rigor, instructional quality, support for all learners, and accuracy, informed by published frameworks and research. 75% of the score.
Plus four trust checks: a real teaching resource, no signs of copied material, no private student or staff information, school-appropriate.
Built so teachers keep more.
No subscription. No tiers. No exclusivity.

Fair questions, straight answers.
When does Margins launch?
We're working toward early 2027. Founding sellers get in first and help shape the platform before buyers arrive.
Is it really non-exclusive?
Yes. Sell on TPT, your own site, Etsy, anywhere you like. Your other stores stay exactly as they are. We don't ask for exclusivity.
What does the grade report check?
Each resource gets a score from 0 to 10: 25% for how well it lines up with education standards (Common Core and NGSS, where they apply) and 75% for learning science (cognitive rigor, instructional quality, support for all learners, and accuracy). It also gets four trust checks. It's an AI-assisted review, it may contain errors, and buyers see it before they pay. Read how it works.
What does Margins cost sellers?
Nothing to join, no subscription, no listing fees. You keep 80% of the price you set on every sale, before tax and refunds.
Who is Margins for?
Teachers who create and sell original classroom resources, and the teachers and homeschool parents who buy them.
How is this different from TPT?
From January 1, 2027, TPT sellers keep 55% (Basic, plus a $0.30 fee per resource) or 77.5% (Exclusive, plus $59.95 a year and exclusivity). On Margins you keep 80%, with no fees and no exclusivity. Until December 31, 2026, TPT Premium also pays 80%. Every Margins listing also shows a grade report. TPT has far more buyers today, and we're honest about that. See the full math.
